Chestnut Grove Cemetery Annex - West Chester, Pennsylvania
Pottstown Pike, north of the town of West Chester, across from St. Agnes Cemetery.
This is a small cemetery that appears to have been abandoned in its past. Debaptiste Funeral Home in West Chester is running it now. The cemetery was initially formed in 1862 to bury African Americans who were denied burial in other cemeteries.
One of this cemetery's more notable graves is that of Horace Pippin, a famous local artist who died in 1946.
