Holy Trinity Church in Philadelphia was built in 1789. The church had a fire in 1860. Then another fire, (on Christmas day), in 1890. And in 1995 the interior ceiling of the church collapsed. Each time they rebuilt. Today the church is overseen by Old St. Mary Church.
The very small cemetery on these church grounds once had the remains of Stephen Girard, the well-known banker. He was buried here in 1831, though his remains were later moved.
Access to this cemetery is limited.
